Short summary of every Jewish holiday: They tried to kill us, we won, let's eat.
My mom sent this to me and I thought that it was kinda true and really funny. |

Watched Live Free or Die Hard last night with my friends who live above me. Guess where John McClane's daughter Lucy attends college? That's right, Rutgers Camden people!!! Had to express the pride when I realized where she was. Rutgers Camden is definitely not that nice in person I don't think. The building where she lived has to be a different location. |

| » Baby Quentin |
Today a few of us went to RWJ to visit the 17 month old boy that we adopted to visit. He has had lukemia for the majority of his life and has been in remission for several months now. He's absolutely adorable and his name is Quentin. He loves air hockey, baby einstein, and toy trucks. he laughs so much it's so cute! I can't wait until we get to visit with him again! I have to get back to studying for my physics test on refraction, reflection, image formation, interference (sound familiar) with light waves, diffraction patters, polarization, and relativity. A hell of a lot of stuff for one test and I'm only 2/3 the way through image formation. It's going to be a long night.

| » Hairspray the Musical |
Get this, Hairspray the is being made into a movie again. I am slightly disturbed by the fact that John Travolta will be playing Edna Turnblad. I just don't see him and Divine on the same playing field. It's just strange and Amanda Bynes as Penny Pingleton? Not so much but I do like the fact that Allison Janney is Prudy Pingleton. She's great as a comedic actress. I loved her in Drop Dead Gorgeous. She was hilarious. I guess I'll have to wait for this summer to see if this version of the movie stands up at all to John Waters' original.

I think that it's silly that people are already home but Rutgers still has another day of finals for us to take. Granted I will be out of here in less than 24 hours, but I as I have recently gotten in the past few hours (ie reminders that others have been home or are getting home today) I just wanna go home.

Everyone has to look at this website. It is absolutely hilarious; especially the part with the adverse affects of cigarettes and alcohol when combined.

Right now kids from one of the upper floors are being carried away in ambulances. This is when you know that drinking has gotten a little out of control when kids have to go to the hospital on a Tuesday.

| » the reservation |
The reservation is an amazing place. The riding path that goes around it is really long but totally worth it.
I got home late from testing and missed what was apparently a non-existent track practice. Even though I don't have my knee brace yet and my shins still hurt a little, I decided to go running, but I hate the monotony of the track. All you do is go around in circles. So I decided to go to the reservation to run for a change of pace.
Honestly, I didn't realize that the path was so long, but it turned out for the better; it really did. It gave me time to think as I was trekking up some of those hills. I realized how simple things can be, but I also realized that some things will never be simple no matter how much you want them to be. All in all, that long path around Surprise Lake is really peaceful and allows you to either forget whatever is troubling you at the time or it gives you some pure tranquility that allows you to really simplify whatever is troubling you into manageable "bites."
I highly recommend a run/walk around Surprise Lake. Words of warning, when in doubt, go right.

| » Yet another one of these, what a surprise! |
You don't need to say you love me, comment asking for me to fill this out. 1. I'll respond with something random I like about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll name something we should do together. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me). 5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. 6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for (myself and) other people!

| » Penn Relays |
So today I went to Penn Relays and proceeded to receive a fairly painful sunburn on my shoulders. The girls that competed (boys compete tomorrow) were insane. I watched the girls long jump, more than one girl jumps 20+' ! That's hard for guys to do nevermind girls. 20+' is like olympic level.
Anyways, our girls did well considering the fact that only one of the runner was a senior; our own Barbara Stekas.
And tomorrow I get to miss most of the school day after period 3 I leave for Rutgersfest. Yay for missing essentially two days of school in a row!
Now to heal my burns.....laters (and yes i just said laters)

I was just given an ankle bracelet by one of the mah jhong ladies here. on the package it has the copywrite, where it was made, etc. as well as Adult supervision required.
That's just kinda funny that adult supervision is required when using an ankle bracelet.

the Wit
(57% dark, 34% spontaneous, 21% vulgar) |
your humor style: CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK
You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.
I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.
Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.
You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.
